Pastor
Rev. Alejandro Lopez
Rev. Alejandro López has been the pastor of Emanuel of Sorá Lutheran Church since 2017. In addition, he collaborates with the Luther Academy and the Centro de Misericordia "El Reformador" by teaching courses in different churches in Central America and the Caribbean.
He served for more than 8 years in the Confessional Lutheran Church of Chile as a pastor, missionary, teacher, chaplain and administrator of the IELCHI Educational Corporation.
Deacon
Kenneth Peterson
Mr. Kenneth Peterson is a deacon of the Panamanian Lutheran Church, who together with his wife Marta Peterson were the founders of the Emanuel de Sorá Lutheran Church. He served for many years as a missionary for Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in Venezuela and Director of Lutheran Hour Ministries (CPTLN) internationally and locally.
Deaconess
Laura Kluge
Laura is a deaconess trained at the Concordia “El Reformador” Seminary in the Dominican Republic and has a degree in Education. She is the founder of the “Emanuel” tutoring program in which she teaches children of all ages daily. She served as Head of the Technical Pedagogical Unit of the Concordia Lutheran School of Viña del Mar, as well as a primary school and Christian education teacher for many years in Lutheran schools in Chile.
